The stepped cornice above two glazed doors enclosing bookshelves on a fitted secretaire of various drawers and two large cupboard doors. Wonderful original condition.

A magnificent pair of French giltwood chests. Circa 1860.
The marble tops rest above various short and long graduating drawers with circular gilt brass floral handles. Each chest is raised on square tapering legs and decorated with carved rose garlands and ribbon tied wreaths.

The suite comprises of a settee, 2 armchairs and 6 chairs. It is of the highest quality and decorated with fine carvings. The arched upholstered backs with carved columns, rosette motifs and finials above full upholstered seats raised on back and front fluted legs. Exhibition quality.

The mirrored back surmounted by an open arch with urn finial and spindle gallery rail on a base with 2 cupboard doors, and 2 glazed doors flanked by carved and fluted Corinthian columns. Entire decorated with pastel shaded marquetry, Neo classical urns, trailing flowers and foliage, crossbanding and stringing.

The half moon shaped top with elegant square tapering legs. Both exquisitely decorated with intricate pastel shaded marquetry and each a mirror image of the other coming together to form a circular centre table.
