A nineteenth-century mahogany-framed library armchair. Circa 1890.
The chair features a faux leather upholstered back with an intricately carved top rail
and turned uprights, complemented by a fully upholstered seat. Its front legs are
turned while the rear legs are splayed, each fitted with brass and porcelain castors.
The arms are upheld by spindles and include upholstered armrests for added
comfort.
